A society with hard to break clerical hierarchies

For the longest time Brother Paul, a member of of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD), tries to achieve the unachievable: he reaches out to the sex workers in the bars and on the streets in giving away condoms for free. The local catholic church in the Philippines, says Paul, does not like what I am doing. "They stick to a very traditional, old fashioned clerical hierarchy", with no room for progression. But Brother Paul Bongcaras together with the German Pater Heinz Kulüke (SVD) have decided that its better to give away condom to prevent diseases and to reduce the ever growing amount of children.
